SportsCenter Top 10 home runs of the first half

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by 85bears, Jul 11, 2006.

  1. It was the other way around: Rowand's catch was No. 2, Matthews' was No. 1 (justifiably so). And if Rowand played in a park where they actually put padding on the wall, we would've forgotten that catch weeks ago.

Gary Matthews Jr. is not the Sarge, by the way.

What? No tee-ball home runs made the list? What about their mandate to promote youth sports?

  4. Overheard somebody in the stands at a ballgame when Gary Matthews Jr. hit an RBI double: "Aww, fuck you, Little Sarge!" Thought it was a nice mix of obscenity and respect.

Nah, ESPN's dream list would be more like this:

    9. Giambi
    8. Bonds
    7. Manny
    6. Jeter
    5. Bonds
    4. Big Papi
    3. A-Rod
    2. Bonds
    1. Bonds
