ESPN's Scott Van Pelt's name came up when former Maryland forward Jordan Williams talked about the process of leaving school to enter the NBA draft. Everyone at Maryland knows SVP is a graduate and big time fan, but is he getting too close to the athletic program there?

If SVP did that he should be fired, for malpractice. Not for advising Williams but for giving him such terrible advise that Jordan Williams is now eligible for the NBA draft. Williams will be lucky to get into the D-League. He'll most likely play in Turkey or Kazakhstan before an NBA team allows him to suit up for an actual pre-season game.
