The Daily Globe, in Worthington, Minn., has an immediate opening for a full-time sports reporter. Applicant should have strong computer and writing skills with abilities in page design, photography and copy editing. We cover roughly 20 high schools and one college. This is an excellent opportunity at an award-winning daily newspaper in an area that loves its high school sports. Send resume to: Managing Editor Ryan McGaughey, Daily Globe, 300 11th St., Worthington MN 56187, or e-mail to rmcgaughey@dglobe.com.

Just a short drive away from Spirit Lake. So it has that going for it, which is nice.

It's closer to Nebraska than Minneapolis...

  6. True, but 3 hours to Minneapolis isn't terrible.

And the nightlife of Sioux Falls is just an hour or so away.

There was a hiring freeze for a while for Forum Communications. By the way, the West Central Tribune in Willmar, Minn. was looking for a news/sports reporter as well.

Yeah a three hour drive to Minny in six feet of snow nine months out of the year is nothing.

  11. Does anyone have circulation info on this? I looked but can't find it anywhere.
