The Inquirer and Mirror, an award-winning weekly newspaper on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, seeks highly-motivated, experienced sports writer. Salary commensurate with experience. Send resume, clips to mstanton@inkym.com. The Inquirer and Mirror, 1 Old South Road, P.O. Box 1198, Nantucket, MA 02554.

I thought I'd put this on here because, well, it's Nantucket.

I've been to Nantucket once in my life and only vaguely remember the paper, so I can't speak to that. What I *can* say is that everything there is very highly expensive and as such, you'll almost certainly have to pick up a summer job on the side to make things work out. Of course, it's summer in Nantucket.

Also, if you go to the airport? NOTHING like Wings. Sorry.

A Wings reference on the first reply. I'm so happy I posted this.

There once was a paper on Nantucket,
Its sports reporter said "Fuck it,"
    The rag won some awards
    for its reporting of scores,
but still SJ's opinion was "Sucketh"

Haha. Love the limericks. Seriously how much of a pay cut would I have to take to have this gig?

You'd probably get a nice raise. Unfortunately, it would get more than eaten up by the COL spike.
