    Whoops. Hopefully that won't mean the air conditioner won't get shut off this summer because it gets awful hot up there.

    That's up to SoCal Edison. They have shown a bit of a problem handling the ever-increasing load.

    Especially in sports, which -- when I worked there in the early 90s -- had its back to the west against this huge plate window. This meant that right around 3:30, it: 1) became hard to see your computer, and 2) turned you into the ant under the magnifying glass.

    I'd say good times, but the lazy clown running the department at that time precluded those.
