Maybe I'm just a bit fed up, but what's up with this bullshit? It seems like so many newspapers attempt to make it their mission in life to screw us over on salary. There should be a place in hell for those type of people, right next to child molesters and rapists.

  4. Don't sweat it. They'll get what they pay for, or maybe have a hard time getting anyone at all. Salary=demand

Great rap scene in Vallejo, but far enough from SF where you'll be miserable if single.

During the school year, I work at a rag nearby. Vallejo has a good paper, but that salary certainly will scare a lot of potential applicants away.

  7. Yep, it sure scared me away. I make that as a part-timer!

What is $30,000 gonna get ya in the Bay Area as far as housing goes?

Not a house, that's for sure.
Maybe a packing crate. Make that a used packing crate.
