Sports Writer, Trumansburg, NY

    Sports reporter for The Finger Lakes Community Newspapers located in Upstate NY. Duties include attending High School and college games, and other sport-related functions, writing, taking and assigning photos, managing stringers, and copy editing. We're seeking an experienced writer with pagination skills, that is highly organized.     Trumansburg is eight miles from Ithaca, in case you were wondering. And if you don't know where Ithaca is, it's where Cornell is.

    It's a small staff, but you'll get lots of opportunities to do everything. I think last guy who worked there is in Saratoga after spending a year there.

    Obviously Cornell/Ithaca College provide good D-I and D-III sports, but there's some really good teams at Ithaca High School and surrounding towns.
