Sports Writer, Sugar Land, Tx

    I live 20 minutes from Sugar Land in a $115,000 house. There are homes for less than that in Sugar Land. It's no different than many suburban areas -- pockets of affordable housing mixed in with the "upscale" housing.

    There are 4BR/3.5BA houses for sale for $140K in Atlanta. Good ones.

    I know the editor and one of the sports guys that work there. They are great guys, fun and good to work for. They also know what they're doing. The Fort Bend section is well read. They also do a lot of daily online stuff, too. Can't speak for the pay, but I'd venture to say it's higher than what most small weeklies and dailies offer at entry level. Also Fort Bend has great sports, great basketball and track.
