I am currently serving as the interim sports editor in Roswell right now. I have moved up from the sports reporter position after our previous sports editor stepped down with no notice this past weekend.

I'm sure I'll get hammered on this board, but I would be happy to answer any questions anyone has about the position or the newspaper.

I read this board before I accepted the position here and have to admit I was slightly concerned. However, I'm extremely happy here in Roswell and am pleased with the direction we are heading as a whole.

You can contact me at kjkeller@roswell-record.com.

I doubt anyone's going to hammer you personally, KJ (unless you're into that sort of thing), and anyone who does is out of line. It's more the gig and the reputation it's attained over the years that draw people's ire.

    Good luck with the hire.

KJ, why did the previous SE leave without notice?

Not really sure. He just left a letter of resignation and I haven't talked to him since.

Somewhere in Area 51, there's a big stack of sports reporters.

What about copy editors? There must be an even bigger stack of those.

Been to Popo's yet, KJ? Best enchiladas I've ever had.

I haven't made it out to try some of the local cuisine.

I have heard that Popo's is good. Any other recommendations?
