Thoughts? The 38k is around 25-22k equivalent in most places, so it's not as much as it looks, but otherwise, not too bad pay-wise. Anyone know how big the staff is or if any photo work is required?

Not to mention the huge cost of moving there.

Yeah, but it isn't a white sandy beach paradise like Maui and Oahu. The Big Island has black sand beaches and is notg nearly the tourist destination of the other two. Surely they'll do their interviews by phone. Then somebody will get the gig, go there and possibly have an ME who is a butthead. Now, if it was Saint Maarten instead ....

Big Island blows away the other islands if you want to get out and about and see the whole place. It rains about 300 days a year in Hilo. Kona, on the other side of the island, is the tourist mecca. Get yourself a helicopter and it's about a 30 minute commute.

Remember, if you live in Hilo you can get a local spot in the Ironman in Kona. :D

Serve, you know I'd just donate the spot to you and pull up a chair to watch, right?

And it rains 300 days a year there? Really? Sucky.

It rains nearly every day on all the Hawaiian islands, for 30-40 minutes. Half hour later it has dried up and the fun continues. The rain is hardly an inconvenience.

I would grow a mustache and wear a Tigers hat all the time, just because it would be the right thing to do.

but you'd have to drive a B210, instead of a cool ride.
