The Daily Reflector of Greenville, N.C., is seeking a sports beat writer to cover six high schools that produce perennial state champions. The ideal candidate will be able to cover games, produce compelling features, report on current events and trends and maintain The Reflector's reputation online and in print as the area's leader in breaking news on the high school beat. The writer also is responsible for producing a weekly online football forecast show and collaborates with a team of journalists at one of the best mid-size dailies in the state. Greenville is a growing town of 90,000, home to East Carolina University and a major medical center. It's 90 minutes from Raleigh and 90 minutes from the beach.
