    Description:

The Goshen News is a 10,000 circulation daily with big ambitions and we’re looking for a sports writer who wants the chance to grow and isn’t afraid to look beyond the scores to find the stories.

The Goshen News serves as the local leader in sports reporting, covering 10 high school teams in the Northern Lakes Conference and Northeast Corner Conference, as well as providing top-notch coverage of Goshen College athletics and Notre Dame football and basketball.

Successful candidates will have a variety of duties including reporting, editing, photography, videography and feature and enterprise writing for print and digital products. Strong knowledge of social media in a variety of formats is a must.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated sports fan who prides himself/herself on accuracy, attention to detail and exceptional storytelling.

Interested candidates should email their resume, work samples and a cover letter explaining why they are qualified to join our award-winning editorial department to editor Julie Beer at julie.beer@goshennews.com.

The Goshen News is owned by CNHI/Raycom, a media group based in Montgomery, Alabama. CNHI owns more than 110 newspapers, websites and publications in 22 states. Raycom Media owns or operates 65 television and two radio stations in 20 states.
