    Can you think outside the box? Are you energetic and creative? Do you handle deadline pressure well? The Goldsboro News-Argus is looking for you. We currently have a writing position open in our sports department. The News-Argus is an award-winning, 20,000-circulation daily paper located in Wayne County — home of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. We are an hour from the beaches and Raleigh. Applicants must be proficient in writing, interested in page design and willing to work weekends. Salary is commensurate with experience.     They were hiring about three months ago. I don't know what happened with that position. This could be the same one or a different one.

    It doesn't look like they ever hired anyone from the last time the position was posted. They didn't have an easy time filling a position the time before that, about six months ago.

    There's more than one reason for that.
