Is Adam's Rib BBQ still open? Always thought the chow was OK until the K-State Catbackers welcomed Tim Weiser for a meeting. Then the food was top-notch.

Adam's Rib in Garden City was closed last time I passed through town. The iced tea there came out of a machine and refills were extra. And the beans they served were the little Yankee beans, not pintos. Any of those offenses would be enough to disqualify a place from being considered a real BBQ establishment in Texas, but I guess that's considered acceptable up north.

Not sure which is more impressive, the fact that she'd move with you to Garden City, Kan., or that she doesn't get mad when you mock her body shape in typos. What a woman!

I noticed this typo probably 5 minutes after I posted this, but left it because it's unintentional comedy at it's finest.

Don't mess with a good thing.

Too bad I didn't see this thread before I applied at this very paper a few hours ago. Oh well, sounds like a great paper to get my career started at.

Son, you might have a bright future ahead of you, but the time to stop putting "at" at the end of sentences is now. Never acceptable, even in speech or on a message board.

No apology required. However, expect to find lots of people who are kind of hard-assed about these matters if you enter this field.
