    Is it possible to move up between papers in McClatchy? i.e. would the person who got this job be able to move up the ladder at other McClatchy papers?

    I can't say for sure if it would be any easier. I think it might just be better to look at this job as a place to do some great things that will impresses people at any chain when you're looking to move on.

    See Pilot thread. The Auburn writer is heading to Roanoke/Norfolk to cover VT. Therefore, he's not taking the prep job at the paper. I know nothing other than that.
