    Is it possible to move up between papers in McClatchy? i.e. would the person who got this job be able to move up the ladder at other McClatchy papers?
     
  3. I can't say for sure if it would be any easier. I think it might just be better to look at this job as a place to do some great things that will impresses people at any chain when you're looking to move on.

    There's an Auburn beat writer position available? At Columbus or somewhere else?

    See Pilot thread. The Auburn writer is heading to Roanoke/Norfolk to cover VT. Therefore, he's not taking the prep job at the paper. I know nothing other than that.
