NP Sports Media is looking for talented, creative, self-starters to join our internship program. The program is a unique opportunity for students interested in pursuing careers in sports media. Interns will get hands-on experience shooting video, editing it and interviewing athletes on camera, while building valuable connections in the sports realm and media business. They will work closely with award-winning journalist Natalie Pierre to learn shooting, editing, interviewing and storytelling techniques.

Throughout the internship program, students will be compensated for gas, meals and additional expenses while on assignment. Upon the completion of the program, select interns will have an opportunity to join our growing company or do freelance work for us.

    Qualifications –

Applicants must have a high school diploma, be currently enrolled in a college in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, have excellent communication skills, reliable transportation and weekend availability.

Students pursuing degrees in broadcast journalism, television/film, communications or related fields are preferred. Previous experience shooting and/or editing video professionally or for a school TV station/website is a bonus.

Please send a resume, cover letter and any relevant work samples to npsportsmedia@gmail.com.
