This is an unpaid internship for the Winter 2011-2012 in Washington D.C./Maryland/Va.

Synthesis Multimedia Productions is at the forefront of video production for major media organizations like The Washington Post. As a contractor to these companies, SMP produces video journalism for web stories, commercials for clients, branding and marketing tools and much more. A majority of these productions are related to SPORTS.

This is a hands-on opportunity. Interns/producers will be given equipment and training and sent out into the field to produce their own video packages and will gain bylines at major media organizations.

Here's an example of what we do:

Watch video testimonials from former interns, who are now paid producers, about their experience with the company.

Interns have worked their way into paid roles in this company and have gotten jobs at places like The Washington Post and ESPN.

    Application deadline is Nov. 17.
