Pet names: We've had horses named Rookie, Renegade, Luc, Rally
Cats: Chaser (Kelly Chase), Penguin, Hat Trick, Lemieux, Lemke
Dogs: Hullie, Rally, Batgirl, Kocur, Bruin, Kez (McCorvey, FSU)

That's just in recent memory. We have a lot of animal turnover.

I think "Tram" would be a good dog name.

My childhood dog was named Butkus after Dick Butkus.

Everyone thought his name was "butt kiss"

This guy's (not mine; my two are enough, thanks) name is Bruschi.

I'm sure people who are unaware think he's named after beer.

We name our dogs in groups at the Humane Society, generally off suggestions from school classes. So we get things like "Ruler," "Pencil" and "Scotch Tape."

Couple of weeks ago my favorite dogs we've had that I DIDN'T adopt came through. Named Wrigley and Turner. They were beautiful and sweet. Both found homes in less than two weeks.

Yost. Especially if you have to encourage the dog to move faster.

Last year in Joplin about this time a pair of dogs came in to the Humane Society. Someone there named them Green Bean and Cranberry .
