    Newsday, the 350,000-plus circulation newspaper on Long Island, is looking for an experienced, versatile and aggressive sports reporter with a range of skills for both print and online. The writer must have a track record for breaking news, producing engaging enterprise stories and have a strong commitment to multi-platform journalism. This person should have a minimum of five years experience covering college or pro sports in a competitive market.     In seriousness, this should be a good job. Comes with headaches, of course, but it offers endless opportunities in New York.

    That's going to be a pain in the ass for all those writers whose papers take stories down after 14 days.

    Especially, as Miss Skinner knows, those who write for a site behind a pay wall as well.
