The Oconee Enterprise, an award-winning weekly published each Thursday in Watkinsville, Ga., has an opening for a full-time sports reporter.
The writer will join a two-person sports staff, which primarily covers five high schools.
In addition to writing eight to 10 stories a week, the ideal candidate should be able to take photos of all sports, from football to volleyball, and be comfortable with social media like Twitter and Facebook.
Candidates should have at least two years of experience covering sports at either a college, weekly or daily newspaper.
Reliable transportation is a must.
