The Sandusky Register, one of the best community newspapers in Ohio, has an opening for a sports reporter. We’re looking for versatile candidates who can do more than write game stories. A track record of producing quality enterprise, digital-only content and solid story ideas is a big plus. The ability to build relationships in the community also is vital to this role. You’ll get a shot at covering everything from youth baseball to the Browns and will be able to learn and grow in a great newsroom. Interested candidates should contact sports editor Brian Kollars at bkollars@sanduskyregister.com. Please include a resume, three references and no more than five writing samples.

It's funny - I see Sandusky and Register and I think of Megan's Law.
