The Berkshire Eagle seeks a reporter with multimedia skills to join its four-person sports department. If you like the challenge of doing work that matters and embrace the opportunities that our sports environment presents, this is the job for you.

In our coverage area of the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, high school and community sports take center stage. We write about the athletes, coaches and fans that make our sports region special. We cover 11 public high schools, two private schools and two NCAA Division III colleges, as well as community sporting events.

We are seeking applicants with at least two years of experience in the field. When you apply, provide at least three published stories and provide links to work samples that show your skills in social media and in multimedia storytelling. We'd like to see examples of your photography and videography if you have them.
