Sports reporter: Oshkosh Northwestern

    The Oshkosh Northwestern seeks a full time sports reporter to work closely with the area's youth and recreation sporting leagues to expand coverage as well as becoming an integral team member in the newspaper's coverage of prep sports. Duties includes some editing responsibilities and page design/pagination duties.

    Successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to develop sources and break news while producing enterprise material. Knowledge of digital photography helpful. Some daily newspaper experience preferred. Previous sports reporting experience a plus.

    Gotta love a job posting that puts youth and rec sports ahead of prep coverage. Yikes.
