    Eight days. Wow. Sounds like Jon already had someone in mind. Either that or a candidate came in and really bowled them over. It is a good paper.

    When Jon nabs someone, they've usually got a pretty stacked resume and often depart to a power conference college beat at a good paper. Congrats to the hired.

    Agreed. And the Tribune in question is Columbia, which is why Columbia has an opening. Congratulations!
