The New Canaan News and The Darien News, two award-winning weeklies in Fairfield County, are looking for a sports fanatic to cover two rivaling high schools, both with numerous state championship wins. We're looking for a strong writer who can churn out quick copy for game stories, but also write long-form feature pieces. Candidate will cover everything from football to gymnastics, and must be able to cultivate relationships with coaches, players and parents. Candidate is also responsible for leading a stable of freelancers and photographers. InDesign and Social Media experience a plus.
