Daniel made a hell of a hire, bringing in one of the nation's top young sports reporters.

Congrats to the hired and welcome to the biz.

  10. Another opening here. Details probably won't change. Wonder if the new guy already left?

Maybe Daniel will stop in and let applicants know if there's a built-in roommate available this time. It's really the only way to go. There's just nothing affordable available, especially for someone living alone.

Since the new hire (the third since I moved here in June, I think) had moved from another paper in the region, I don't think Saturday's foot of snow would have thwarted him. (And this time, we didn't get as much as Bismarck.)

Hopefully it's just that someone moved on to something bigger, which seems to be the trend.

We do have a place to live for the new hire if they choose to go the roommate route. It's a nice two-bedroom apartment and very affordable with the wages we pay.

The guy leaving is the second-most recent hire (still a short tenure). He's moving further west to be closer to home.
