    I applied for this job when it first opened. I think it ended up being the Rhea County paper.

    It has been posted before, but no one ever posts an opening for a cops and courts fanatic or an education nut. If the hiring editor doesn't take your craft seriously in an ad, he or she won't take it seriously with you on staff. Don't cheapen the value of what you do.
