Had to check this town out.

    Less than 3K residents.

Named after Nebraska's first governor, David Butler.

One native wants you to know just how special this town will make you feel, with a card. Yes, Joyce Hall -- founder of Hallmark -- grew up in David.

A native of David City's sporting scene, Mike Ekeler, born 33 days after me, is the Linebackers Coach at Georgia. He also coached at USC and was a co-defensive coordinator at Indiana. So he has coached in the 3 biggest conferences. Seems like a guy we'll be hearing from again soon.

And here's the tell-all pic of the metropolis known as David City. Don't shoot your wad exploring it all at once.
