    I always attempt to find a contact person. Even if it lands me on another person. More often than not I always get to the right one. Then the other thing that comes up is following up. There's a delicate balance between how much is too much. Some don't want to be bothered and others are really good about keeping in constant contact and being really nice about it when they don't have to obviously. I also follow the no calls, no emails rule unless they attempt to reach out to me. Then it becomes fair game. Same rules to me apply though afterward whereas follow delicate balance. I always try to follow up once a week, depending on how busy I am with real life, once per 10 days, if it's something I want.
