The Carroll County Times, a 25,000 circulation daily in Westminster, Md., has an opening for a sports page designer/copy editor. We're located about 40 minutes from Baltimore and an hour from D.C. We cover preps extensively, as well as the Ravens, Orioles and regional colleges, but this is not a writing job. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of paginating 4-6 pages per night as well as updating the web, and work well in a team atmosphere. Quark experience will be a major plus. We're hoping to fill this rather quickly. If interested, please send a cover letter, resume and work samples to sports editor Bob Blubaugh at bob.blubaugh@carrollcountytimes.com or to 201 Railroad Ave., Westminster, MD, 21157. Feel free to e-mail with questions.
