    For anyone looking to transition out of journalism and into PR, Blinn is a great starting point, and $43k is a reasonable salary for Brenham. They have a really good JUCO athletics program that brings in good talent, and that area of Texas is beautiful, especially in the spring. It's also fairly close to College Station, Houston and Austin.

    And almost 15 minutes away from Tahoe!
