    WILLIAM PATERSON SPORTS INFORMATION ASSISTANT

    William Paterson University seeks an enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual to fill the position of Sports Information Assistant. This position is part-time and paid hourly, averaging 20 hours per week.

    The Assistant will report directly to the Sports Information Director and will perform tasks as assigned, including but not limited to: event coverage; statistical compilation; writing, assist with editing and designing media guides; Website content creation and maintenance; and archiving of information.

    Qualifications include a bachelor's degree; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all members of the University community; writing experience, particularly in a public relations setting; ability to work with a variety with people and in a variety of settings; and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment. Weekend and evening hours required. Prior experience with statistical software programs (Statcrew), InDesign and Photoshop (Mac and PC) is preferred, as is prior experience in a college sports information setting.

    William Paterson is a public university located in Wayne, N.J., that serves more than 11,000 students. The Pioneers are members of Division III of the NCAA and the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
