Kyrie might have the best handles in the game. LBJ needs one more guy to be damn good not just an average player. Others today need multiple to win a championship. LeBron needs just one and Kyrie is that guy. Without Kyrie the Cavs don't win the title. Without LeBron they aren't even in the conversation.

Made it almost halfway through and gave up. Too long. Just say goodbye already in a clever, sincere way and be done with it.

I can't remember the last seth davis article I read in the magazine, - and I read each issue cover to cover - can't believe he's a senior writer. My first sports editor said he hated columns written in Spanish. "Spanish?" I asked. "You know, "Ay, Ay, Ay" (the use of I)... it's your name on the column, your picture on the column, who else are people going to think these opinions are coming from? "

It's a farewell column from a guy you're still going to see on TV.

Brian Hamilton and Lindsay Schnell, two of SI's colleges writers, are also gone.

It seems that when it came time to trim staff, ESPN and SI weren't shy about cutting from colleges.

Somehow dick deitsch still has a job. Goes to show being a media fluffer is a good career move since being a critic to anything but the most low hanging fruit is beyond him
