    The Southeast’s hottest publishing house needs a research specialist for its unique series of memorabilia-filled books illustrating the long histories of the best collegiate football and basketball programs across the country. The successful candidate will have to:

    • Travel about 10 days per month to major universities to conduct archival research for old photographs and memorabilia, scan collectibles, and supervise freelance sports and studio photographers;
    • Adhere to photo-acquisition budgets and broker rights/fee agreements;
    • Develop and maintain relationships with university archivists, sports information departments, museum curators and private collectors of collegiate sports memorabilia;
    • Have professional editing/writing experience in Associated Press style;
    • Write photo and art captions;
    • Work with the art director to oversee the creativity of our in-house book designers;
    • Be able to juggle several book projects at the same time, and meet deadlines.

    Sorry, but recent college graduates need not apply. No phone calls please. Atlanta-area candidates preferred. Our office is located off I-85 on Clairmont Road inside I-285 in Northeast Atlanta.
