    McLean, Va.



    USA TODAY Sports Media Group is seeking an Enterprise Writer with a proven background in producing industry-leading enterprise journalism.



    Responsibilities:

    Write detailed, high-impact stories that provide fresh perspective on people/trends/ideas off the news.
    Work closely with writers and editors from multiple beats (and other Gannett properties) to develop stories, sources and collaborative projects.
    Meet stringent editing and vetting requirements and deadlines.
    Abide by the highest standards of journalistic integrity and professionalism.
    Be familiar with and committed to digital storytelling approaches that encourage and increase audience engagement.
    Extensive travel required.



    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field.
    5+ years of reporting experience with emphasis on investigative coverage.
    Exceptional writing, research and communication skills.
    Demonstrated ability to cultivate sources across multiple sports and disciplines.
