    I actually lived in Seoul in the mid-70s, when I was in the 4th and 5th grade. Dad was an Army officer. At the time, there was one English-speaking TV station, and it didn't come on until mid-afternoon during the week. No McDonalds or anything like that. I remember watching the A's-Mets World Series games at like 7 a.m. The people are very friendly. My older brothers report you could get an ounce of kick-ass weed for, like, 5 bucks.
