The Citizens’ Voice, a daily newspaper in Northeastern Pennsylvania, seeks a sports editor to lead a staff of award-winning reporters, editors and designers.
Candidates should possess exceptional organizational and editing skills along with the ability to develop strong sports coverage that includes game coverage, enterprise, commentary and online components.
We’re looking for an editor with fresh vision and ideas to lead our team which was honored this year with three national Associated Press Sports Editors awards, including top 10 in Sunday sections in America.
The sports editor is at the center of all of coverage and oversees the production and design of the daily and Sunday sections as well as web development and content.
Interested candidates should send a letter, resume and samples of work to Dave Janoski, Managing Editor, 75 N. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, Pa. or email djanoski@citizensvoice.com.
