    Description:

    Our award-winning weekly newspapers in Tama and Toledo, Iowa are in need of a sports editor. Primary duties will be covering sports and shooting pictures for the South Tama School District as well as some regular news beat reporting and pagination of pages. The successful applicant should have some sports reporting background, photography experience, and experience with some type of newspaper pagination software such as Quark. Our newspapers are part of the Ogden Newspapers group and offer an excellent benefit package including health insurance, a 401k and a competitive salary and a chance for advancement.     This is my current job but I'm leaving soon. This is a great place to work with nice people and great community support. The community took me in during my short time here and they would love to have a great person fill this spot. It would be a great place for a starter job, but it is also good for someone who has a few years of experience as I did when I moved here.
