    The Tahlequah Daily Press, an award-winning newspaper in the beautiful Ozark foothills of Northeastern Oklahoma, is seeking an energetic, multi-tasking team player to continue a tradition of excellence as sports editor. Our news team, which includes some seasoned journalists, has a good reputation in the industry, and is a great place to launch a new career or settle in for a lifetime. Degree in journalism or previous newspaper experience, preferably on the sports desk, required. The successful candidate will have a good grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling and AP writing style, as well as extensive knowledge of various sports disciplines. We're looking for a well-organized self-starter who can lead a group of stringers in covering four high schools and an NCAA II university. Should have experience in photography, including the creative use of Photoshop, as well as page design in either Quark or InDesign on Macs. Good benefits. Salary commensurate with experience and/or credentials.
