I found this on journalismjobs.com. Not sure if it's legit because there was very little information. The only way you can apply is going through the jj website. Here's the link, and what the ad stated:

    http://www.journalismjobs.com/Job_Listing.cfm?JobID=1510531

    Position: Seeking Sports Editor
    Location: not specified, Texas
    Job Status: Full-time
    Salary: Not Specified
    Ad Expires: August 16, 2013
    Job ID: 1510531

Daily newspaper needs sports editor who can oversee college and high school coverage as well as handle a beat.

Geez. I can't imagine a world or the circumstances in which I'd apply to an ad so vague.

No city, no circulation, no clue of staff size, no guesses at salary.

Since they're hoping for someone who can "oversee," it wouldn't indicate an entry-level position. It's possible some SE in Somewhere could be applying to for his or her own position because he or she is about to be shit-canned but doesn't know it.

They better hurry up and hire somebody. Two-a-days start in Texas in three weeks.

At least Texas is a small place, so that narrows it down.
