Do you love sports? Of course you do! And we want you to share that passion with our readers. The Snyder Daily News is seeking a sports editor to replace our state-recognized editor who is retiring. We’re looking for someone who is able to tell the story behind the results, who can juggle the schedules of our 4A high school with two 1A high schools and community college – all of which regularly place teams in post-season play. The person we hire will have a strong writing and photography background, be proficient in In-Design and Photoshop and will understand the importance social media plays in our coverage. We are a six-day daily newspaper located midway between Lubbock and Abilene.
