    Not as many syllables in Pierre. Almost as bad in Texas as Refugio are Knippa (three syllables AND home of the Purple Rockcrushers) and Palacios. I won't even try Anahuac.

    More like the people who live there should either learn how to pronounce Pierre or learn how to spell "Peer."
