Sports Editor: The Press-Dispatch in southern Indiana seeks a motivated enthusiatic sports editor who wants to get more than the score. We seek a candidate who enjoys storytelling rather than merely reguritating stats and scores. Qualified applicants must also have a diverse skill set including photography as well as a willingness to report on general assignments a day or two a week, mostly in the educational realm as this position will develop sourcing inside local schools from the basketball court to the superintendent’s office. No layout skills required. We have award winning staff from editorial, graphic design and advertising departments. Applicants should submit a resume and cover letter. Applicants with professional or internship experience in newspaper operation will be favored. Camera, phone and vehicle provided.
