    The Parsons Sun has an immediate opening for a sports writer/editor. This person covers high school and community college sports and designs pages. Bachelor's degree preferred.     Ah, this one may not be on the starting squad with Roswell and Hungry Horse, but it appears to be comfortably on the second team.

    This is the third time this job has been posted in two years (the last time was just last November).

    Amazingly, it was only five years ago that a 40-year veteran of the position (and a legend in Parsons) stepped aside.

    There are some damn good people at that paper ... or what's left of it. Watch your step.

    The ME is a great guy; everyone in the newsroom is.

    Unfortunately, the newsroom has shrunk so small that it's not funny.

    And the new owner of the paper is a fookin' arsehole.
