Cottey may be the only all-women junior college in the country. It has volleyball and basketball and is getting ready to start up softball. Competes in NJCAA Division II, Region XVI, which is a pretty competitive region in women's basketball from what I know. But don't rely on their PR department. They even send stuff over here to Fort Scott, whether it's academic or athletic. But they still use snail mail, meaning that their sports results reach here about a week after the game was played.

Do you think a Missouri native with eight years' journalism and three years SE experience who would probably be there forever could get more than $25,000 if he/she made the move?

I think you can get right at $25,000. I doubt you could get more. However, raises are guaranteed every year. But if you're already making significantly more than 25K, I wouldn't make the move.

None yet. Only a guess on my part. He'd been on the job about three weeks.

Based on what I learned yesterday, he simply got homesick. He's from Ohio and last worked in Kentucky. But he didn't talk very much, I guess, so no one it really certain. In his resignation letter, he basically said he wanted to be closer to family.

to be honest, is having a job in nu-vay-duh really worth bragging about?

i'd rather be drawing unemployment in ohio than working in nu-vay-duh anyday.

    This just was reposted again.

Can someone give some insight? Was it not filled last time around?
