    The Daily Republic, a daily newspaper with a circulation of approximately 13,000 in Mitchell, S.D., seeks a sports editor.
    Our next sports editor will emphasize local coverage, first and foremost, and also will direct our sports staff, which includes three full-time and up to two part-time employees. Page layout experience is a must and photography experience is preferred.

    A Forum Communications newspaper, The Daily Republic is located in east-central South Dakota, in the heart of pheasant country. We are the rare small daily newspaper with several connections to major-league sports, with two local/area players in the NBA and one in the NFL.
