Sports Editor: Digital First Media is seeking an organized self-starter with strong writing, digital and social media skills to lead its Middletown Press sports department. Work closely with DFM’s two other Connecticut daily properties: The New Haven Register and Register Citizen of Torrington. Middletown is home to Division III Wesleyan University and plays host to several state high school championship events, including baseball, football, swimming and track and field. The area also hosts the Travelers Championship PGA event each June. To apply, send a cover letter, resume and work samples to Sean Barker, sbarker@21st-centurymedia.com
