The Globe Gazette, a division of Lee Enterprises, has an immediate opening for a sports editor. We are a roughly 20,000-circulation newspaper in North Central Iowa within two hours of the Twin Cities and Des Moines. We are looking for an experienced, energetic sports journalist who will give our readers the best mix of local, regional and national coverage, both in print and online. The sports editor supervises two other full-time and three part-time sports reporters, and writes, edits and paginates stories. We cover two local colleges, 28 high schools.
