    The award-winning Ravalli Republic newspaper in the heart of Montana’s scenic Bitterroot Valley is seeking a sports editor for its all-local sports section. The editor is responsible for covering sports at six high schools. Candidates need to be self-motivated with good writing skills. The sports editor also helps out with some general news writing assignments on an as-needed basis. Experience in photography and Adobe InDesign is desirable.     Perry Backus is good people. Hamilton is beautiful. Lots of cowboys here and Missoula is just 40 miles away.
