Sports Editor for Patch.com in Anne Arundel County, MD

Patch, a growing network of local news Web sites, is seeking an editor to manage coverage of sports in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. We're looking for someone who can cover major high school sports as well as some youth sports. Navy Football and the Bowie Baysox minor league baseball team may also be part of our coverage.

The editor will cover many events but will also assist a regional editor and local site editors in assembling and managing a staff of freelancers.

Applicants must have some experience covering live sporting events. Knowledge of Anne Arundel County is a plus. Photography and video experience is also desirable.

The position is part time but will provide steady, competitive pay and consistent work. Recent college graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
